Present tasks

I work as a researcher in the Marine spatial planning unit where I’m in charge of data management and participate in map production. I’m responsible of VELMU map service that I develop together with the Information center in SYKE. In my research work, I have been focusing on locating and identifying coastal aquatic vegetation by remote sensing methods.

Background

I have a Master’s degree in Physical Geography (2014) from the University of Helsinki. In my master’s thesis I studied large scale changes in Asian monsoon system through two study lakes in Thailand.
