Current position

  • Team leader in Communications Services.
  • Coordination, management, HR.
  • Communications planning, web services, social media, media services, internal communications, international communications.
  • Responsible for communications on climate change issues.

Background

I have been dealing with communications for three decades, so you can truly say I am a senior in the business. But I hope in good sense! I try my best to be open to new ideas and to new people and it is always exciting to learn about new things.

I have always worked in the environmental sector. After university studies, I started my working career in the National Board of Forestry and found myself in old-growth forests and nature parks. Then I got a phone call from WWF Finland and started a post in this international organization for ten years. Tigers, elephants, seals, pandas - but also hard work in promoting sustainable forestry and other important things.

Now I use my time and energy in the biggest environmental research and expert organization in Finland called SYKE. My team supports the work of 500 environment experts. My special theme is communications on climate change.
