A new catchment model is a useful tool to achieve phosphorus load reduction goals

This paper gives a full description of a new catchment-scale phosphorus model (INCA-P), based on equilibrium dynamics. The model provides a means of formalizing current knowledge of catchment systems and the particulate phosphorus simulation was much improved compared to previous model versions. (This model can be a useful management tool to advise of the best means of achieving agricultural load reduction goals.)
