Finnish Environment Institute

Helsinki 2011

Five Finnish municipalities act as laboratories by working to curb their greenhouse gas emissions ahead of schedule. The municipal authorities, local businesses and residents are together committed to the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions both in the near future and over the decades ahead. The emission reduction target is 80 percent by 2030 from the level of 2007.
