Project description

The aim of the study is to collect farm and field parcel specific data on farming practices and other measures related to agri-environmental issues to assess how the Finnish agri-environment support scheme. Based on collected data potential changes in nutrient emissions to the waters are estimated with mathematical simulation models. Data are also used in other MYTVAS3 sub studies.

Data are collected by farmer interviews from three study areas locating different parts of country: Lepsämänjoki  (Southern Finland), Yläneenjoki (Southwestern Finland) and Lestijoki (Western Finland). Collected data cover the years 2008-2010.

Farmer interviews are realised during winter and spring 2011. Data analyzing take place during summer and autumn 2011.  Results will be published in SYKE's series.
