Algal bloom monitoring June 8, 2017: Cyanobacteria occurrence low in lakes and the Baltic Sea areas around Finland

Cyanobacteria occurrence is still low which is a typical situation in early summer. Some cyanobacteria have been observed in six monitoring lake sites, and in the coastal areas of eastern Gulf of Finland. Surface waters are cooler than typically this time of summer.
