With the warming weather, intensive blooms of cyanobacteria have started to occur. In lakes, high amounts of cyanobacteria have been observed at seven observation sites. In some sea areas there are already extensive cyanobacteria occurrences, however the algae occurs mainly mixed into the water. In the Archipelago Sea cyanobacteria are very abundant at some locations.
