In the Finnish coastal and open sea areas observations of cyanobacterial blooms have been low. In lakes cyanobacteria have decreased since last week, and less cyanobacteria have been observed than typically this time of summer. Low and decreased observations on cyanobacteria likely result from unsettled weather and cooling of lake waters.
