Algal bloom monitoring June 27, 2019: Cyanobacteria situation is typical both in the Finnish sea areas and in lakes

In the Finnish sea areas only single abundant cyanobacteria occurrences have been observed in coastal areas. In lakes, the cyanobacteria situation is also typical, and the likelihood of abundant surface blooms is low in the next few days. Pollen of pine is still found in the central and northern Finland, and their surface water accumulations may resemble cyanobacteria. More in Finnish
