Current position

  • Team leader in Communications Services
  • Responsibilities: Coordination, management, HR
  • Expertise communications planning, service design, web services, social media, media services, internal communications, international communications
  • Responsible for communications on climate change issues

After graduating with a degree in political science, my career began in the National Board of Forestry and I found myself in the old-growth forests and national parks. After a few years WWF Finland offered a unique position to continue working in an international conservation organization. For ten years we promoted sustainable forestry and tried our best to save the endangered species in Finland and globally.

As a team leader at SYKE it is inspiring to support the work of 500 environmental experts. My special theme is to communicate about the solutions to the climate crisis.

My colleagues in communications and the the world-class environmental experts inspire me to be open to new ideas. We are all keenly aware of the challenges that confront our planet and humanity, but at the same time we are still hopeful that we will find the solutions to the wicked environmental problems, such as climate crisis and the alarming loss of biodiversity.
