Developing quality control tools for environment monitoring (OUTLIER)

Project description

The SYKE quality control project is expected to provide requirements for conducting quality management activities for all (selected) environmental data collection and environmental technology programs performed by or for the SYKE. The primary goal of the project is to ensure that the environmental decisions are supported by data of known and documented quality.

Idea is to develop or adapt several quality management tools to assist in implementing its quality system. The tools and scope of activities supporting the SYKE data quality system differ at each level of the organization.  New data quality assessment tools are used to assess the type, quantity and quality of data. Idea is to verify that the data are suitable for its intended purpose and use.

General guidance to organizations on assessing data quality criteria and performance specifications for decision making may be created during.
