Algal bloom monitoring June 23, 2016: Increasing cyanobacterial observations around Midsummer

Some substantial surface blooms of cyanobacteria have already been observed in Finnish lakes. In open sea areas no blooms have as yet been spotted, but there are a few local bloom observations on some coastal sites.
