Observations of cyanobacteria have increased in the Finnish sea areas, and the amount of observations exceeds the average for this time period. Also in the lakes cyanobacteria have become more common and the number of observations is higher than usually during this time of the year. The increase of observations is probably caused by calm and warm weather conditions.
