About the project Plan4Blue

Plan4Blue brings together the key blue growth and maritime spatial planning actors from Estonia and Finland to identify pathways to sustainable use of the sea areas and resources. The collaborative process analyses the economic potential of different scenarios and identifies environmental risks and management options.

Main outputs

  • Agreements on cross-border Maritime Spatial Planning objectives, planning options and a framework for continuous collaboration
  • Jointly produced Blue Economy scenarios
  • Spatial analysis of potentials and risks of Blue Economy
  • Guidelines for multidisciplinary analyses and stakeholder process to support Maritime Spatial Planning
