Algal bloom monitoring July 2, 2015: Only few cyanobacteria blooms observed from Finnish lakes and sea areas

Cyanobacteria occurrence has been slightly increased in lakes, but cyanobacteria are still reported less than typically in early July. In Finnish sea areas some cyanobacteria have been observed south of Åland Islands. Large algal mats have however not been reported from sea areas.
