You can influence EU policy by telling us what you think needs to be done to improve the status of the Baltic sea, coastal waters and of rivers and lakes.

The EU’s Horizon Europe for Research and Innovation Framework Programme will begin in 2021. The programme also includes a mission-oriented approach to implementing and financing research and innovation. The aim will be to use the missions to address major global challenges and it is our hope that they will be a strong tool promoting the recovery of society from the corona crisis and for ensuring that society will be more resilient regarding crises in the future.

Citizens' views are needed

Each mission’s targets can only be achieved through cooperation between citizens, companies and decision-makers, and this citizens' consultation on the seas and waters that has now been launch aims to attain this.

Our aim is for as many Finns as possible to share their views on the state of waters and on the most important ways to improve them - please take part!
