The director general’s office supports the director general in his role. In addition to the research director, the DG’s office includes the service development director and the communication director. Some of the DG’s office’s tasks are organised into functions.
Under the service development director, there is the development manager and the following functions:

Under the research director, there are also two cross-cutting units: Quality of information and Societal change.
