Circular economy of plastics has progressed in Finland thanks to multidisciplinary co-operation. In addition to necessary environmental benefits, a sustainable circular economy for plastics can also contribute to securing the economy and supply security. Achieving CE of plastics still requires continuous efforts across all levels of society.

This timely webinar brings together expert voices to explore what is the state of circular economy of plastics in different countries. We discuss what is needed to move forward and what we can learn from each other to reach the sustainable circular economy of plastics.

This PlastTalk webinar is designed for Nordic and EU policymakers, parliamentarians, and stakeholders looking for up-to-date, research-based insights to guide future decision-making.

Topics discussed are connected to the 7-year Finnish national PlastLIFE project Re-thinking sustainable recycling of plastics. PlastLIFE is co-funded by the EU LIFE programme. PlastTalk webinars are organised by the PlastLIFE project coordinator Finnish Environment Institute (Syke).
