10th FINMARI Researcher day: Celebrating multidisciplinary marine science
FINMARI Researcher Day is a unique platform that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in marine research. The event is rooted in the philosophy of FINMARI, which emphasizes the integration of diverse scientific disciplines to address complex marine and environmental challenges. By uniting experts from various fields, FINMARI aims to advance our understanding of marine ecosystems and promote sustainable solutions for the future.
Highlights of the 10th FINMARI Researcher Day include keynote insights on oceanography, and the role of research infrastructures in supporting marine sciences, speeches from early-career researchers of their innovative projects, as well as posters on topical themes. The event is also an important opportunity for networking.
“We are thrilled to celebrate a decade of scientific excellence and collaboration at FINMARI Researcher Day,” says Dr. Jukka Seppälä, the Coordinator of FINMARI. “This event exemplifies our commitment to fostering a multidisciplinary approach to marine research, which is essential for addressing the pressing environmental issues of our time.”
