A total of 85 new researchers will be recruited into the research institutes’ postdoctoral programme between 2025 and 2028. The joint programme of the state research institutes promotes research, development, and innovation in areas important to society and businesses. The postdoctoral research programme aligns with the government programme’s RDI entry, which states that the government is committed to increasing Finland’s research and development expenditure (R&D) to four percent of GDP by 2030.

Postdoctoral researchers conduct impactful and high-quality research that strengthens and integrates science, business, and administration. The research carried out within the programme is strongly linked to the strategic entities of the Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) and the environmental administration. See the available positions on the valtiolle.fi recruitment site.
