Research and expertise

I am a sustainability researcher interested in the interactions between people and nature. I combine approaches from different scientific disciplines as well as qualitative and quantitative methods in my work. My background in ecology has given me the ability to look at use of natural resources and biodiversity conservation from a strong sustainability perspective. At Syke, my work takes a multifaceted approach to the management of different ecosystems, such as boreal forests and marine ecosystems, and the policy processes and decision-making related to their biodiversity.
