Research and expertise
In my research, I examine sustainability transformations using methods from policy studies. In recent years, I have focused particularly on studying and developing the science–policy interfaces and on various methods of knowledge co-production. I research and develop the science–policy interface at national, EU, and global levels. I served as a Strategic Research Programme Director for six years, and more recently I have focused especially on international biodiversity policy and policy coherence in several EU-funded projects.
I have published several dozen peer-reviewed scientific articles and multiple policy briefs.
