Current tasks
- to investigate the sources, fate and effects of microplastics and engineered nanoparticles
- to develop the analysis and characterisation methods (e.g. µFTIR, Pyr-GC-MS ja DLS) for the determination of micro- and nanoparticles from different environmental samples
- to act as an expert of the measurement techniques of microplastics and engineered nanoparticles in national and international networks and working groups
- to supervise PhD students (currently 3)
