The Flow-through Measurement System is a mobile monitoring platform for high-resolution environmental observations in lakes, rivers, estuaries and coastal waters.

The system combines continuous water quality measurements, greenhouse gas monitoring and hydrological observations with precise positioning, enabling efficient collection of spatially and temporally detailed environmental data.

Applications

The system supports a broad range of research and monitoring activities, including:

  • Greenhouse gas measurements and modelling
  • Water quality monitoring
  • Hydrological studies
  • Microplastic research
  • Environmental impact assessments
  • Vegetation mapping
  • Collection of input data for environmental models
  • Technology testing and validation
Why choose the flow-through measurement system?
  • High-resolution environmental monitoring while underway or during profiling
  • Continuous measurements of water quality, greenhouse gases and meteorological conditions
  • Flexible platform that can be equipped for hydrological, microplastic and ecological studies
  • Real-time data collection with cloud connectivity when required
  • Complete workflow, from field measurements to data processing and analysis
