Welcome to the trial version of the syke.fi website!
The syke.fi renewal project opens syke.fi for familiarization to Syke employees. This is currently an internal site only, so please do not share the link outside of Syke, e.g., on social media.
All Syke employees are encouraged to explore the new syke.fi during December-January. We hope to receive both praise and criticism, as well as constructive development suggestions, is gathered to one email address:

The service also features some incomplete pages to help visualize the overall structure. If you notice any clearly missing content, you can send a message to the above email address.

Current development status
Content is being supplemented, especially in terms of Swedish and English versions, as the initial focus has been on creating Finnish content.
- Many translations have been done using artificial intelligence, so feel free to comment if you find any errors.
- If a page has a link to a person’s page, it currently directs to the Experts' main page, as personal pages have not yet been published.
- Project pages that have been automatically migrated from the old site have not yet been published.
The automatic migration of Syke employees’ work contact information will be done next year. Otherwise, the system is technically ready, and the supplier is focusing on finalization and corrections.

User interface
- The user interface may occasionally display colors or logo from the ymparisto.fi website.
- User interface texts may appear in the wrong language.
- In the “Discover more” highlight card groups, titles may be cut off mid-word or images may not align correctly within the cards.
- The user interface is not entirely consistent in all aspects (elements, spacing, font sizes, etc.).
- The search may fail to display results if a word in the content is capitalized and the search term is entered in lowercase.
- In the open positions listing (see e.g., the homepage), the publication date of the announcement is shown instead of the application deadline.
- In mobile browsing, the main menu may close when scrolling down the page.
Accessibility
- There are some weak contrasts in the user interface (e.g., the background and text of the attention banner).
- Links leading out of the service may sometimes incorrectly open in a new window.
- Not all link names are yet accessible.
- In the mobile version of the site, elements may not align correctly if the text is scaled to 200% (browser-dependent).
