Policy instruments and levels of the circular economy

A notable part of the existing regulation focuses on the outermost cycles of the circular economy – namely waste policies. Many of the instruments affecting the inner cycles limit and control the reuse of materials. The goal must be to guarantee the safety and sustainability of reuse and remanufacturing.
