People working at the Nature solutions of Syke have a long history in research and development of nature management and restoration techniques and their ecological effects. The projects are commonly compiled together with partners like the State Enterprise Metsähallitus, Forestry Development Centre Tapio and the Finnish Forest Centre. Within METSO, Syke has been involved in several nature management projects funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
