Registration for the Baltic Sea Science Congress 2023 is done via an electronic registration form below. Registration is binding.

Due to summer holidays, we have decided to extend the registration deadline. Last day for registration is 11 August 2023.

Payment and cancellation terms

Registration fees 

*Master and PhD students are entitled to the reduced fee. 

Regular and student participation fees include 

• the full scientific and educational program
• in-person networking opportunities onsite with peers
• 4 x morning coffee, 4 x light lunch, 4 x afternoon coffee 

1-day ticket is available for Tue 22 Aug–Fri 25 Aug, and the fee includes

• the scientific and educational program during the chosen day
• in-person networking opportunities onsite with peers
• on Tue/Wed/Thu 1 x morning coffee, 1 x light lunch, 1 x afternoon coffee, or on Fri 1 x morning coffee, 1 x light lunch

Banquet ticket includes 3-course dinner with drinks. 

All the prices include value added tax. 

Registration

Registration for the Baltic Sea Science Congress 2023 is done via an electronic registration form on the event's website. Registration is binding.

Last day for registration is 14 July 2023

Payment methods 

The registration fee is paid at the time of registration with a credit card (Visa/MasterCard). With a Finnish bank account, the payment can be done also via mobile payment (MobilePay, Pivo, Siirto.) or online bank transfer. 

The registration fee must be paid in full before the congress. The organizer has the right to deny the participant’s access to the event if the registration fee and/or related additional payments have not been paid.

Cancellation policy 

Registration can be cancelled free of charge by 22 April 2023. In the event of a cancellation on 23 April 2023, or closer to the event, a cancellation fee of 50 % of the registration fee will be charged.

Transferring the right to participate 
The right to participate for the congress is personal and may not be shared or transferred to other persons without permission. If the participant is prevented from attending in the event, the paid registration can be transferred to another person in the same organization. The organizer must be notified of the transfer in writing to the  bssc2023@registration.fi.

The terms have been updated on 17 May 2023 regarding the 1-day ticket and the last registration day.
