Abstract submission for the BSSC2023 has been closed.
The congress features a four-day scientific program with thematic keynotes by invitation (30 min) as well as presentations (15 min) and posters selected from submitted abstracts through peer review.
Guidelines for presentations
Oral presentations
- All the oral presentation materials should in .pptx format.
- The aspect ratio of the PowerPoint presentation is 16:9 (not 4:3).
- The preferred minimum font size is 20.
- Please name the file according to the name of your abstract.

PowerPoint presentations are uploaded via the Ex Ordo system by Monday 18 August.
- Maximum file size that can be uploaded is 50MB.
- Log in to the Ex Ordo system and upload your presentation file. On your dashboard, you will have a prompt on My Presentations card directing you to presentation upload.
- When uploading the presentation to Ex Ordo, you can choose whether your PowerPoint presentation can be enclosed to the scientific program on the websites.
Poster presentations
- Presenters will bring and attach the posters themselves.
- The preferred poster size is A1 (vertical), dimensions: 594 x 841 mm.
- The poster board (vertical) dimensions are approximately 950 x 1600 mm.
- You can have a one-minute pitch-talk in the main seminar room as a mic-talk with one (1) PowerPoint slide. The guidelines for the format (.pptx) and upload are the same as mentioned in the oral presentation guidelines above. The presentation slide has to be uploaded via the Ex Ordo system by Monday 18 August.
